Robur Joinery Ltd is a small, family-run workshop based in Pocklington, making bespoke timber windows, doors, and staircases for homes across York and East Yorkshire.
We keep things straightforward: proper measurements, clear advice, well-made joinery, and careful fitting by the same team from start to finish.
Everything is made in our workshop and fitted by us, with the timber, hardware, finish, and installation details agreed before manufacture begins.
One team handling survey, build, finishing, and fitting with the same standard carried all the way through.

Our Name
What “Robur” Means
Quercus robur, the pedunculate (or “English”) oak, is a species of flowering plant in the beech and oak family, Fagaceae. It is a large tree, native to most of Europe and western Asia, and is widely cultivated in other temperate regions.
The name reflects the kind of work the business is built around: durable, rooted, and made with a long view rather than quick turnover.
