Robur Joinery Ltd is a small joinery business in York. We've been making windows, doors, and stairs for local homes and businesses for years.
We work mainly with timber and focus on getting the job done right. No fancy talk, just honest work at fair prices. Everything is made in our workshop and fitted by us.
When you contact us, we'll come out to see what you need, measure everything properly, and give you a straightforward quote. Then we build what you need and fit it ourselves.

What “Robur” Means
Quercus robur, the pedunculate (or "English") oak, is a species of flowering plant in the beech and oak family, Fagaceae. It is a large tree, native to most of Europe and western Asia, and is widely cultivated in other temperate regions. It grows on soils of near neutral acidity in the lowlands and is notable for its value to natural ecosystems, supporting a very wide diversity of herbivorous insects and other pests, predators and pathogens.
